In Jackson, Tennessee, Wallace Jimmerson followed his wife to her job at Walmart after fighting with her, then tried to run her over in the parking lot. He then opened fire on her, hitting her twice in the arm and the leg. He was captured later that day.

A woman was shot by her husband Tuesday morning at a Wal-Mart in Jackson, Tennessee.
Authorities said the suspect, Wallace Jimmerson, followed his wife to her job at the store, located on South Highland in Jackson. Jimmerson allegedly tried to run over his wife in the store's parking lot, and then shot her.
The victim was struck in the arm and leg, and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. She is expected to fully recover.
After receiving tips from the public, authorities arrested Jimmerson later in the day near his home in the Hardeman County community of Toone.
Investigators would not say what Jimmerson and his wife were fighting about.
