Occurred July 21, 2014.
A man entered a Walmart store in Kansas City, Missouri, with an openly-displayed handgun on him. Naturally, shoppers were alarmed, not knowing his intentions or level of training, and called 911.
Police responded and interviewed the man, but then released him. Missouri law allows open carry of firearms, and Walmart is permissive.

No law was broken, but Walmart is just fine with its employees and shoppers being alarmed.
