From an article:
A 28-year-old man was arrested after he was accused of shooting a woman in the eye with a BB gun following an argument at a Stevenson Ranch Walmart.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday near the store located near Old Road and Pico Canyon Road. Deputy Josh Dubin of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told City News Service that there was an argument in the Walmart parking lot between the alleged gunman and the 22-year-old woman (who did not know each other) before she was shot.
The victim, who's only identified as Megan, and her boyfriend told authorities that the man followed them out of the Walmart parking lot and rammed his car into theirs, according to KTLA. They kept on driving and when they were stopped at a traffic light, the suspect reportedly drove next to them and fired a BB gun through the passenger-seat window, hitting Megan's right eye.
She was taken to a hospital and underwent seven hours of surgery. Doctors are hoping she'll regain her sight. Megan's aunt Diana told KTLA that Megan's vision in her left eye was already weak since childhood. Megan's boyfriend was not injured.
Deputies arrested Cory Flenory at 8 a.m. today at his home on the 28100 block of McBean Parkway in Valencia. He put up a fight and kicked out the window of the patrol car before the deputies pepper-sprayed him. He was booked on a mayhem charge and held without bail since he is a parolee.A related article with more details.
